✏This is not just another poetry club!

✏This group seeks to discover how we can use the every form of the language arts to promote compassion, social consciousness, healing, empowerment, hope, and brotherhood, in the hearts and minds of those in our community and to tackle the issue of the lack of diversity in the writing community.

✏This is a positive environment designed to not only to help make you better as a writer but to help you figure out why you write the way you write and why you write what you write.

✏These meetings are free of charge!

⭕It's going to be a very laid back venue--a very non-judgmental, collaborative, and welcoming environment. The purpose of these get-togethers, as is normally the case with other poetry meetups, is not COMPETITION-based but rather the exploration and sharing of a vast array of technique and subject matter across the wide spectrum of the language arts.

⭕This is not just another poetry reading or book club!

⭕This group seeks to discover how we can use narrative, poetry, and every form of the language arts, to promote compassion, social consciousness, healing, empowerment, hope, and brotherhood, in the hearts and minds of those in our community and to tackle ethnic disparity that tragically continues in the world of literature--a disparity that is killing the craft itself.

⭕This is a positive environment designed to not only to help make you better as a writer but to help you figure out why you write the way you write and why you write what you write.

⭕These meetings are free of charge!

⭕This is a monthly event that is held on the first Saturday of every month at the Desert Sands Meeting Room (5709 E. Belknap St., Haltom City, Texas 76117). I look forward to meeting all of you talented writers and bookworm readers out there in Tarrant County, and to providing you with a setting where you may artistically feed off the creativity and inspirations of other like-minded individuals.

May your day be positive!
